Mr. Weidner received a B.A. degree from the State University College of New York at Buffalo and thereafter attended Ohio Northern University where he received his J.D. in 1984. While at Ohio Northern University Law School, he was a member of the Law Review and also received an American Jurisprudence Award for academic excellence. Mr. Weidner was admitted to the practice of law in the State of New York in 1985 and since that time has concentrated his practice in litigation defense. His professional memberships include the New York State Bar Association, as well as its Torts, Insurance and Compensation Law Section; the American Bar Association; and the Erie County, New York Bar Association. He is a past member of the Defense Research Institute. Mr. Weidner has given lectures to insurance representatives concerning the defense and investigation of serious injury accidents. He has also lectured on civil practice and procedure to local paralegal groups and has presented CLE seminars to Bar Association organizations on topics including handling "Wrongful Death" cases and issues related to New York Civil practice. Prior to joining Brown & Tarantino, LLC, Mr. Weidner was a member of the law firm of Saperston & Day, P.C. In that capacity, he was a litigation defense specialist responsible for cases involving various types of liability claims brought against both insured and self-insured entities.
