Michele R. Gefell, R.N., B.S.N.

Ms. Gefell received her A.A.S. in Nursing from Monroe Community College in 1985, and her B.S. in Nursing from the SUNY College of Technology, Utica, in 1987.  During the next 11 years, she worked at Strong Memorial Hospital, DePaul Medical Center in Virginia, and St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester as a medical-surgical staff nurse, as a case manager, as a step-down/telemetry certified staff nurse, and as a hospital educator.  In 1998, she began work as a staff nurse at F.F. Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua, New York and moved to the Intensive Care Unit the following year, where she stayed until 2006.  Immediately prior to joining Brown & Tarantino, LLC, as a nurse consultant, Michele worked for the University of Rochester as a Quality Assurance Project Nurse for the Primary Care Department.
