Mr. Bernacki received his B.S. in chemistry from Hobart College in 1989, where he was a varsity athlete and was recognized academically as a "Named Scholar." From 1989 to 1991, Mr. Bernacki was employed as an analytical chemist. Mr. Bernacki received his J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 1994. While attending law school, Mr. Bernacki was elected President of the Student Bar Association and was one of twelve Michigan law students selected to the American Inns of Court, a trial advocacy program founded by Warren Burger, former Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court.  Prior to joining Brown & Tarantino, LLC, Mr. Bernacki gained considerable trial experience as an Assistant District Attorney for Monroe County. Mr. Bernacki joined Brown & Tarantino, LLC, in 1998, and since then, he has been extensively involved in the defense of medical professionals.  Mr. Bernacki's practice areas include medical malpractice defense, dental malpractice defense, OPMC/OPD defense, general liability defense, nursing home liability defense, criminal/vehicle & traffic/DWI defense, prosecution of motor vehicle accident cases, and estate administration and planning.  Mr. Bernacki's professional memberships include the Monroe County Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association.
